(Bloomberg) — Turkish officials have initiated an investigation into the six-member girl band Manifest following a weekend performance in Istanbul, the latest example of auhorities clamping down on music and cultural events across the country.

Istanbul’s chief prosecutor said the probe was prompted by footage from the Saturday evening performance at Kucukciftlik Park that allegedly showed the band and dancers engaging in “indecent acts” and behavior deemed offensive to “public morals.”
