More than 20 miles of Angeles Crest Highway will be closed during midday hours for most of September for utility work.
Part of the mountain road will be closed for 23 miles in both directions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Sept. 25. The closure will extend from Foothill Boulevard, south of the 210 Freeway, and Angeles Forest Highway.

Southern California Edison will complete permit work during the closures.
Drivers were advised to use Big Tujunga Canyon Road to Angeles Forest Highway to Angeles Crest Highway.
