FERRY COUNTY, Wash. -- Firefighters are continuing work on two wildfires burning on the Colville Reservation.

According to incident management, The Rattlesnake Fire is estimated to be 13,480 acres. The Lynx Mountain Fire is estimated to be around 2,961 acres.

Containment for both fires is still at 0%.

Firefighters are installing sprinklers and hose line north of Twin Lakes and near Lynx Creek Road to support successful structure protection and to minimize acres burned.

Incident management reported a 30% to 40% chance of spotty showers in the region, along with a 10% to 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms overnight. The region will be under a weak southwesterly flow for the next couple of days, which will bring cooler temperatures and higher humidities.
