Grand Slam success!

Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz triumphed over Italy’s Jannik Sinner during the Men’s Singles Final match of the 2025 US Open held at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Sunday (September 7) in New York City.

Carlos , 22, and Jannik , 24, battled it out in four exhilarating sets, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, lifting Carlos back to the World No. 1 ranking.

Earlier this year, Carlos came out on top at Roland Garros, while Jannik claimed victory at Wimbledon, keeping their rivalry as one of the most thrilling storylines in tennis.

With this win, Carlos adds a sixth Grand Slam title to his collection, which include the 2022 US Open, 2024 and 2025 Roland Garros , and 2023 and 2024 Wimbledon .
