Every August, the Newburyport Chamber Music Festival (NCMF) invites the community of Greater Newburyport to be swept away in the transformative experience of live music. Renowned artists move into town and come together to play to audiences of friends, neighbors and strangers seeking that something special that only live music can provide. This past August, it happened again with the help of countless people and funders and more. Merchants in town opened their doors for open rehearsals, churches welcomed performances, and many of you opened your homes to host musicians as well as sight-reading parties and special events.
