DELMAR, Iowa (KCRG) - Movie theaters are struggling financially as they compete with streaming services.

For Drive-In movie theaters, that can be even more of a challenge.

But the Voy 61 Drive-In in Delmar has stood the test of time.

It’s because of customers like Mollina Burns who keep it going.

“We saw on Facebook that they were playing a movie that we used to grow up on so we decided to come out,” Burns said.

Burns’ family had the ultimate set up to watch The Goonies, wearing comfy pajama onesies and having variety of food to snack on.
