PITTSBURGH – Of all the good that occurred over the weekend for the Milwaukee Brewers , the start from Jacob Misiorowski on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 7 might have been the most significant.

With many outside the organization clamoring for the right-hander's demotion to the bullpen following a series of subpar starts, "The Miz" stepped forward and delivered what was easily the best outing of his young career.

He showed gumption in recovering from a shaky first inning, mental toughness in not allowing external factors like a scuffed-up mound to derail him and tremendous physical ability by tying a career high at any level with seven innings and setting a new high-water mark with 108 pitches in a dominant 10-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park.
