Billy Porter has withdrawn from Broadway’s “Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club” due to a serious case of sepsis, forcing an early closure.

The revival will now end Sept. 21 instead of its planned Oct. 19 closing, cutting the run short by nearly a month.

Understudies will take over Porter’s Emcee role for the final two weeks alongside Marisha Wallace as Sally Bowles.

The Kit Kat Club is closing its Broadway doors early on Sept. 21, as current “Emcee” Billy Porter battles a “serious case of sepsis,” according to the production team.
