The Duchess of Kent , who was the oldest member of The Firm, does not often make such public appearances and is rarely seen publicly. While she may have kept a low profile, The Duchess’ life has been dedicated to supporting the next generation. Not only has she raised her three children (George Windsor , Earl of St Andrews ; Lady Helen Taylor; and Lord Nicholas Windsor), alongside ten grandchildren (including Lady Amelia Windsor), but The Duchess of Kent inspired hundreds of students after stepping back from public duties in 2002 to teach music at a local primary school.
