Two libraries at USC’s University Park Campus were evacuated Sunday after a bomb threat was reported.
Sunday afternoon’s announcement affected the Leavey Library and the Doheny Memorial Library, campus police posted on X.
People were urged to stay away from the area.
The Leavey Library is on West 34th Street west of Figueroa Street and the Doheny Memorial Library is located off Childs Way west of Figueroa.
The source of the threat was unknown, USC Department of Public Safety Assistant Chief David Carlisle told the Daily Trojan.
A Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad was sweeping both libraries, Carlisle said.
