SPOKANE, Wash. — Calling all Spokane chicken fans! We now know when the Raising Cane's location in North Spokane will open!

According to the Raising Cane's website, the grand opening for the North Spokane location is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9.

As part of the grand opening, Raising Cane's is giving 20 customers Free Cane's For a Year.

According to KREM 2's reporting a little over two years ago , the location is planned for 9252 N. Newport Highway, according to a filed building permit.

At the vacant site, formerly a Burger King, the permit details a Raising Cane's with a drive-thru and patio.

The proposed value is $1,300,000 for the 3,327 square foot lot.

Close to the new lot is a Wingstop and Chick-fil-A.
