WATERVILLE -- The city of Waterville was bustling this weekend for The Maine Book & Print Fest , an event connecting local authors with the community.

Multiple tents and vendors could be found during the third annual festival at the Head of Falls with events also taking place at other locations in the city.

Many authors were featured this year, including Kate Flora, who says she's written 38 books, 28 of them published.

"Talking to readers is important. How do you get known? There isn't book reviews anymore, y'know? There really is very little ways for us to be known," said Flora, who published her first book in 1995. "I've been doing this for so long, I think, 'Well, everybody knows me.' But, it may not be true."
