A man was arrested in Newark, Vermont, after a 6-week-old infant was hospitalized Saturday with injuries that were concerning for abusive trauma.

State police say they were notified around 11:48 a.m. Saturday by the Vermont Department of Children and Families regarding the baby, who is being treated at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
