Doja Cat is kicking off the 2025 MTV VMAs !

The 29-year-old entertainer gave the performance of the night during the music awards show on Sunday (September 7) at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.

Doja wore a black and white outfit as performed her brand new single “Jealous Type.”

The song will be featured on Doja ‘s new album Vie , which she will be releasing later this month on September 26.

The 2025 VMAs show is airing live on CBS for the first time with LL Cool J returning to host after co-hosting in 2022. Lady Gaga leads the list of nominations this year with 12 nods and she’s part of the star-studded lineup of performers who will appear during the show.
