ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - An investigation is underway after two people were found dead in Etowah County Sunday.

According to the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the the 6000 block of Old Highway 411 in the Coats Bend community where they found a man and woman dead at the location.

Officials say the area was secured and a the case remains under investigation.
