The Owen Sound Baysox lead the best-of-seven North Dufferin Baseball League championship series 2-0 after a weekend of play.

With a 5-4 win in extra innings over the New Lowell Knights in Game 1, and a 7-2 victory Sunday in Owen Sound, the Baysox are within striking distance of winning back-to-back Strother Cups. Article content Article content

On Sunday at Tom Williams Park, Ryan McNeill led the Baysox with a five RBI performance while Nate Kramer hurled a gem on the mound.

On Saturday in New Lowell, the Baysox needed extra innings but managed to eke out a victory on the road.

Game 3 in the series will be played in New Lowell on Saturday, Sept. 13, while Game 4 will be back at Tom Williams Park in Owen Sound on Sunday, Sept. 14. Both games will begin at 1 p.m. Article content Ar
