MEADVIEW, AZ (AZFamily) — A community in northwestern Arizona near Lake Mead is without power and water after heavy storms on Friday night.

Sherry Woodward, a resident in Meadview, told Arizona’s Family that water and power have been knocked out for dozens of homeowners in and around the small Mohave County community.

Some residents there have had water restored, but everyone is now under a boil order, which means they should boil their water or use bottled water, according to the Joshua Valley Utility Company .

Woodward said life has been pretty miserable the past two days, and there’s no word yet when her water and power will be restored.
