After their Week 1 victory over the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers are hopeful to sign wide receiver Kendrick Bourne this week. According to reports, the 49ers are looking to salvage their pass-catching arsenal for quarterback Brock Purdy, and a signing of Bourne could come soon. It's easy to see why the 49ers are hoping to bring back Bourne, especially with tight end George Kittle and pass-catcher Jauan Jennings heading in for an MRI to find out the severity of their injuries. Head Coach Kyle Shanahan did not want to comment, so it doesn't sound too good, and Bourne is a solid replacement.
