GoFundMe confirmed Sunday it removed all fundraisers for Decarlos Brown Jr., a suspect in a homicide case in North Carolina .

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified Brown, 34, as the suspect in the murder of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska. Zarutska was living in Charlotte after fleeing the war in Ukraine, and sustained multiple knife wounds while traveling on a train in the city on Aug. 22.

Screenshots of GoFundMe fundraisers for Brown were shared by multiple people on X Sunday, though the fundraising organization said these have now been taken down.
