So much has changed since the last time the Philadelphia Phillies played the New York Mets.

The host Phillies look to grow their lead over the second-place Mets when the teams begin a four-game series Monday.

Philadelphia (83-60) sits seven games ahead of New York (76-67) in the National League East race, but that wasn't the case just a couple of weeks ago. The Mets swept the visiting Phillies in a three-game set from Aug. 25 to 27, closing their gap in the division to four games.

However, the Phillies have since won seven of their last 10 games while the Mets have lost six of their last 10 contests. The result is a division race that could be all but settled if Philadelphia dominates this series.
