A heartbroken bride who chose to go ahead with her hen party whilst wearing her wedding gown sobbed after being mocked by fellow attendees at a racecourse Ladies' Day. Claire Bell, 42, made the decision to continue with her hen party after being dumped by her partner of six years just four months before their wedding.

Accompanied by 12 pals, Claire travelled by coach to Chester Racecourse wearing her elaborate white gown so she could experience being a bride. However, what ought to have been a positive day turned to tears when Claire faced a barrage of harsh remarks from other racegoers.
