B&M has announced that all of its UK stores will close their doors for one day later this year. The discount chain and garden centre operator, which has more than 700 locations nationwide, remains a favourite among customers thanks to its extensive range and frequent bargains.

On Monday, September 8, B&M revealed that its stores will remain shut on Christmas Day, December 25, before reopening shortly afterwards. A company spokesman said that branches will resume trading on Boxing Day, December 26.

While Boxing Day operating hours for B&M haven't been disclosed yet, during 2024 most outlets operated from 8am to 6pm, with the same timings for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Shoppers are encouraged to contact their nearest branch directly for specific opening times closer to the date.
