Following medical tests, FC Barcelona shared an update on Dario Brizuela.

Sidelined indefinitely, the 30-year-old shooting guard will initially sit out a preparation game opposite Girona on Friday due to a right hamstring injury, as announced on Monday.

He was hurt during an international assignment with Spain in EuroBasket 2025, as noted by departing head coach Sergio Scariolo upon elimination on Thursday .

Logging five appearances in Limassol, Brizuela tallied 8.2 points, 2.8 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.6 steals per contest until an early exit from Gameday 5 of Group C. A losing effort against Greece marked elimination with a 2-3 record falling to the wrong end of a tiebreaker versus Georgia and fifth place in the final standings.
