Kevin Nisbet can repay the £300,000 fee paid to bring the striker to Aberdeen by firing in the goals the Dons sorely need, according to Rory Loy.
The former Rangers, St Mirren, Dundee and Falkirk striker believes the transfer sum paid to Millwall is a "snip" if Nisbet, who scored 14 goals last season, can get Jimmy Thelin's side back on track in front of goal.
Aberdeen are currently the only team in the Scottish football pyramid yet to pick up a point or score a goal, with the Reds rooted to the bottom of the Premiership after their first three games.
Optimism has been renewed however by a strong end to the transfer window, with Nisbet making his return after a successful loan spell which ended with Scottish Cup glory last season.
