A group of Michigan Republicans will soon learn if they will face a criminal trial for allegedly attempting to sway the state’s Electoral College votes for President Donald Trump in 2020 despite his loss.

The decision will close at least one chapter in the winding legal saga involving the Trump electors who argue they simply acted at the direction of his campaign and didn’t intend to defraud voters in the battleground state.
