Three teenagers are being remembered by family and their community, while a fourth remains in the hospital after a house fire north of Granville , a town of about 300 people in northwest Iowa.

Kolten Hofmeyer, 16, of Alton, and siblings Bryleigh Koob, 16, and Ashton Koob, 17, of Granville, died from injuries sustained in the Labor Day fire. A fourth teenager, a 16-year-old from Alton, remains hospitalized at the Regions Hospital Burn Center in St. Paul, Minnesota, with severe injuries.

In a news release, Sioux County Sheriff Jamie Van Voorst said preliminary findings indicate the fire was accidental and started from an electrical source in the living room. The investigation is ongoing with the Iowa State Fire Marshal assisting the Granville Fire Department.
