Temperatures will quickly approach the 80 degree mark by noon, as highs top out in the upper 80s for your Monday afternoon.
At the same time, dew points will rise from the 50s to the 70s, meaning much muggier conditions will rapidly move in. The change will be noticeable by as soon as 8 or 9 a.m.
A few showers are possible this afternoon, in addition to a thunderstorm or two. If you are outside later today, stay hydrated and be careful of any slick walkways.
