Rory McIlroy had an emotional embrace with his wife Erica Stoll and their daughter Poppy after winning his second Irish Open title at The K Club on Sunday.

The world No. 2 overcame Joakim Lagergren of Sweden on the third playoff hole to secure his first victory since the Masters following a quiet end to the PGA Tour season.

McIlroy, 36, and his wife, who reconciled their marriage after he filed for divorce last May , were all smiles as they posed for photos with the Irish Open Trophy. 4

Poppy, who turned five last Sunday, adorably placed her hand on the trophy while sitting on her father’s lap.

The dramatic playoff victory in Straffan gave the Northern Irishman his fourth win of the year, just three weeks before the Ryder Cup.
