A tearful Angelina Jolie reflected on her mom Marcheline Bertrand’s 2007 cancer death during an emotional Toronto International Film Festival appearance.
During a Q&A for the actress’s latest film, “Couture,” on Sunday, a fan who had recently lost a friend to cancer asked the cast what their message of “hope” was for those who are still grieving.
“I’m very sorry for your loss,” Jolie said as she began to get choked up.
“I think I will say that one thing I remember my mother saying when she had cancer, she said to me once, we had had a dinner and people were asking her how she was feeling and she said, ‘All anybody ever asks me about is cancer,'” she added.
