A teenager will front court for allegedly displaying a Nazi flag by a major road.
The offensive symbol was spotted on Henry Parkes Way, a country stretch west of Sydney , on August 31, according to NSW Police.
It was the same day pro-Palestine and anti-immigration rallies were held across the country.
On Monday, police arrested and charged a 19-year-old with knowingly displaying a Nazi symbol without excuse.
He was also charged with carrying a knife in a public place.
The accused was granted conditional bail and will appear at Parkes Local Court on September 18.
Right across Australia, anti-immigration and counter protesters came face-to-face at the end of last month.
Crowds were mostly peaceful but police did use pepper spray to separate some pro and anti-immigration protesters
