FREDONIA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WILX) - The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing and possibly endangered 47-year-old man, Dale Jacob Higley.

Higley was last seen on foot around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, in the area of 15 1/2 Mile Road and J Drive South in Fredonia Township.

He was possibly wearing blue jeans and a white T-shirt with a tree service logo on the back.

A Michigan State Police helicopter was deployed to assist in the search and has since cleared the area.

Residents in the area are urged to check home surveillance footage, security systems, and trail cameras for any signs of Higley.

Law enforcement and emergency responders are continuing to actively search the area.
