John Michael Hughes, 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, Ohio.

Born August 23, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John Hughes and Leuna Walton, in addition to his mother and father he was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Ann “Becky” Hughes in January 2020.

He is survived by his three daughters, Lisa (Michael) Rizzo of Schaumburg, Illinois, Kristine Beck of Xenia, Ohio and April Hughes of Clarksville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Isaac (Summer) Hart, Lance Treadway, and Xander and Ezra Rizzo.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
