A Scots pensioner has been named as one of the 16 victims of the horror funicular rail crash in Portugal which claimed three British lives. ‌

Andrew David Kenneth Young, 82, originally from Auchterarder, Perthshire , was among those killed when the Glória funicular in Lisbon came off the tracks and smashed into a building on Wednesday, September 3. ‌

The retired customs officer - known to pals and family as Dave - had lived in Holyhead, Anglesey, since 1980 but never lost his ties to Scotland . ‌

He was one of three Britons who perished in the tragedy which also left nearly two dozen people injured.
