Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan on Monday, Radio Pakistan reported.

He was received at the airport by Additional Secretary (West Asia) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Syed Ali Asad Gillani, along with other senior officials. Nurtleu is accompanied by a thirteen-member delegation.

This important visit comes ahead of the scheduled visit of the president of Kazakhstan to Pakistan in November. On the sidelines, meetings of the Joint Working Groups on Agriculture and IT will also take place.

During his stay, the Kazakh DPM will hold a tête-à-tête with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, followed by delegation-level talks. He is also expected to call on President
