Amarillo ISD hosted its second cross country meet of the 2025 season on Saturday, Sept. 6.

The AISD Invitational featured teams from around the Texas Panhandle, Lubbock and even New Mexico. With four varsity divisions, this year's event included more than 200 boys and girls runners.

West Plains' Noah Holland claimed a narrow victory in the boys Division I race, edging out Lubbock High's Arturo Rodriguez at the finish line. Holland's personal best-time of 14 minutes, 59.95 seconds helped the Wolves to a first-place finish in the team standings.
