MADISON, Wis. (KTRE) - Former Timpson Bear Hunter Tipton caught his first touchdown of the year in Middle Tennessee State’s 42-10 loss to Wisconsin on Saturday.

The senior is a transfer from Louisiana Tech.

Tipton caught three passes for 22 yards and a touchdown. Late in the second quarter, Tipton caught a 4-yard pass from quarterback Nicholas Vattiato for the Blue Raiders’ lone touchdown of the game.

Middle Tennessee State (0-2) will travel to Nevada to take on the Wolfpack on Sep. 13.
