BRANCH COUNTY, MI. — Sturgis resident Ricardo Contreras Arroyo, 49, faces three life felony first-degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and two second-degree CSC charges after two sisters came forward almost 20 years after he allegedly started to assault them in Bronson.

Michigan State Police Det/Sgt. Matt Berry said the two sisters came forward in December to report that Arroyo began individually molesting and then assaulting them around 2005 when the oldest was seven or eight years old.

The oldest is now 28 years old, and the youngest is 26.

The probable cause affidavit stated Arroyo moved with the family to Corey Street in Bronson, where he lived with them until the mother caught him cheating with another woman and threw him out.
