(WEHT) — The Mammoth water coaster at Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari has been named the Best Water Park Ride in the World by Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Award.

According to park officials, Wildebeest water coaster has won the award every year it has been presented since opening in 2010, except in 2023 when Mammoth won instead.

“There’s a reason we’re known as the Water Coaster Capital of the World,” said President and CEO Matt Eckert. “Whether the big winner is Mammoth or Wildebeest, the important thing is that our guests win when they choose to visit Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari.
