With the Flagstaff Eagles and Basis Flagstaff Yeti at the Western Equinox at Freestone Park in Gilbert, and the Coconino Panthers and Northland Prep Spartans at the Joseph City Cross Country Invitational, all four city schools produced impressive results on Friday, Sept. 5.

The Division II Flagstaff boys squad dominated the field of the Boys 5K Championship division behind the efforts of Yohanes Van Meerten and Alex Bland's one-two finish, both DII Coconino teams earned overall victories in Joseph City, and DIV Basis Flagstaff's Jasmine Hall won the Girls 5K Varsity division.
