A former Emmerdale star revealed she "boycotted" the soap after bosses removed a beloved character from the ITV programme. Kelli Hollis, 49, made the admission while discussing her father's 17-year prison sentence . ‌

The actress, who portrayed Ali Spencer between 2011 and 2015, was quizzed about whether she still tunes in a decade after her departure. She said she "dipped in and out of Emmerdale " but added with a chuckle: "I will be honest, I have been boycotting them a little while since they got rid of my daughter (Amelia Spencer). ‌
