BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) – A Wisconsin man and woman were arrested Sunday night following a traffic stop in west-central Wisconsin.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle shortly before 9:15 p.m. in the City of Black River Falls.

The driver, 39-year-old Matthew Hair of Boyd, showed signs of impairment and admitted to using fentanyl and methamphetamine. He participated in field sobriety testing and was arrested for impaired driving. Deputies also located suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

The passenger, identified as 26-year-old Summer Copeland of Boyd, also displayed signs of drug impairment.
