The Detroit Zoo named a two-month-old baby girl chimpanzee

Her name means "to copy" in Swahili, as she is just like her mother.

Visitors can potentially see the baby chimp at zoo, but she may be hidden or hard to see.

The Detroit Zoo announced the name of a two-month-old chimpanzee on Monday, Sept. 8, on social media.

The zoo's Facebook post said zookeepers named her "Nakili" (Nah-key-lee) after the Swahili word "to copy" or "a copy."

"It was very fitting because Nakili is a perfect little copy of her mother, Nyani," the zoo wrote on their post. "As she grows, baby Nakili will also learn to copy her mom's behaviors."

The post said Nakili is about five pounds and hitting milestones as she explores her outdoor habitat.
