A wildfire burning in the hills above Lavington is now held, and saw no growth overnight.

BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) and area firefighters have been on scene since the fire broke out Friday afternoon.

As of Monday, Sept. 9, the 67-hectare Noble Canyon blaze is classified as held.

Evacuation orders were lifted for area residents Sunday, but evacuation alerts remain for 162 properties:

• Buchanan Road - 6510, 6524, 6551, 6595, 6600, 6601, 6615, 6619, 6625, 6651, 6697, 6721, 6733, 6745, 6759, 6765, 6785, 6846, 6859, 6874, 6892, 6903, 6905, 6919, 6920, 6944, 6958, 6991, 7015, 7071, 7128

• Dure Meadow Road - 104

• Freeman Drive - 6310, 6322, 6330, 6340, 6350, 6360, 6361, 6370, 6371, 6380, 6390, 6391

• Highway 6 - 4280, 4289, 4850, 5318, 5350, 5386, 5464
