William “Bill” Joseph Leclerc, age 74, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, left this planet peacefully at the Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday, September 7, 2025. He was born March 20, 1951, in Burlington, Vermont, to Roland and Shirley (Fondry) Leclerc.

The Leclercs moved to Sault Ste. Marie through Roland’s service in the military. Bill graduated from Loretto in 1969, and married Cathy Wagner in 1975, and they started their family in 1979.

Bill probably wouldn’t want his obituary to focus on his career or life path. He would want people to know he did his best, that his best was good, and that because he was “Bill Leclerc”. He was proud of himself and what he created, including his three kids.
