The Maple Leaf Junior Tour wrapped up its season with the MJT Ford Series at RedTail Landing Golf Club in Nisku over the weekend.

Red Deer’s Raylee Denton, 15, showcased her consistency with rounds of 76 and 73 for a 149 total, capturing the MJT Girls 15-19 division title at the event.

“It feels amazing, especially knowing it’s the last one of the season. I’m extremely proud of how far I have come this year, knowing all the hard work has paid off,” she said after her five-shot victory.

Denton explained that what she loves about competing in MJT events is “the people and the experience. Every event is a chance to learn and grow. The atmosphere is always positive and supportive, it feels like a community.”
