Several citizens have become official canvassers to gather signatures for the Forever Canadian petition, which is opposed to separation. Article content

“I was born and raised in Alberta and I’m very proud to be an Albertan, but I’m also very proud to be Canadian,” Kim Nendsa, a local canvasser, told the Whitecourt Star .

Nendsa shared the petition outside of the Allan and Jean Millar Centre on Sunday and said she had a couple pages of signatures collected.

She noted that various local leaders came from across Canada to become part of Whitec
