This year featured wagon rides, street performers, food and bouncy castles.

Blue Ridge Recreation Area is located north of Highway 43 between Whitecourt and Mayerthorpe and north of the Woodlands County hamlet of Blue Ridge.

The area started out as a gravel pit in the 1950s, operated by Alberta Transportation, but it became depleted, leading to the question as to how to go about reclamation .
