YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - As Mahoning County Commissioners decide where to house the county's Board of Elections, the criticism between officials is surely heating up.
Recently, Chairman Dave Betras took to social media to accuse commissioners of failing to act to find a suitable new home for the department and its voting machines. He's now threatening to file suit over the issue.
Commissioner Geno DiFabio said Betras even took the step of sending him profanity-laced text messages. Monday, DiFabio responded to the attacks.
"For him to come out and attack me on social media and then send the test messages he does, that doesn't sit well with me. I have to work with this guy and try to solve issues and to have him come at me like that -- that's ridiculous," DFabio said.
Betras argues he's
