Where good news shines

Casey Wilson is No. 37 for the Pioneers.

Wilson, who played in 60 games for University of Denver lacrosse, was taken fourth overall by Las Vegas in the NLL Draft on Saturday. Thirty-six Pios had been drafted into the NLL before him.

A British Columbia native, Wilson picked up 109 ground balls and forced 28 turnovers. He scored 14 goals and had 12 assists. Wilson last season had three goals and five assists with 26 ground balls in 13 games.

CJ Kirst, an attacker from Cornell, went No. 1 overall to Toronto.
