CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The Cleveland Animal Protective League (APL) is getting ready for one of its biggest days of the year — the 11th annual Dick Goddard APL Telethon.
The event airs on Fox 8 Wednesday, Sept. 10th, and raises money to support the thousands of animals the Cleveland APL cares for each year.
“The excitement is really high,” said Sharon Harvey, president and CEO of the Cleveland APL. “This is such a wonderful day — sharing our mission with the community.”
The APL is a state-of-the-art animal shelter on Wiley Avenue that prepares animals for adoption, finds them loving homes and also handles humane law enforcement across Cuyahoga County.
